Parkmobile appoints Andrew Hamilton as Chief Technology Officer

Company Expands Leadership Team and Aligns Organization for Future Growth

Atlanta, GA – July 12, 2016 — Parkmobile, LLC, the leading provider of mobile-enabled parking and mobility related services, announced today that 20-year technology veteran, Andrew Hamilton, has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. Andrew will play a key role in shaping Parkmobile’s technology strategy, driving major technology-enabled initiatives to fuel its next phase of growth and strengthen its leadership position as the most widely-used mobile parking solution in the country.

Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, with an expertise in developing enterprise strength software and hardware solutions. In his recent role as CTO for Cardlytics, Andrew led teams responsible for core Cardlytics products and product innovations that achieved new levels of scale, performance and reliability.  Andrew designed and managed systems that process over 15 billion transactions a year for 100 million banking customers.

He began his technology career as a Research Developer with IBM, progressing to the role of Senior Architect working on government and corporate projects in the USA, New Zealand and the UK. Andrew then joined promising start-up WebMD, where he was Technical Director responsible for managing the development of the flagship consumer page, content management and news syndication. Following his tenure at WebMD, Andrew led the development of Intercontinental Exchange for its trading and clearing products handling millions of transactions per day.

Andrew is passionate about practical applications of technology in life and education. He earned his HNC in Computer Science from Southampton University, UK. In his spare time Andrew heads up technology and facilities for the Brookhaven Innovation Academy (BIA) opening in August 2016 and has been an active board member since September 2015. BIA is a STEM school incorporating technology into everday project based learning. He lives in Buckhead with his wife and children and enjoys the outdoors including hiking, camping and boating.
