Parkmobile Expands Parking Options with Mobile Payments for On-Street Parking in New Rochelle
Parkmobile delivers the convenience of mobile payments for on-street parking so that residents, businesses, and visitors of New Rochelle will be able to conduct parking transactions by mobile phone.
New Rochelle, NY – February 29, 2016— Parkmobile, LLC, the leading provider of on-demand and prepaid mobile payments for on- and off-street parking, announced today that the company would be expanding its mobile payments solution in New Rochelle to offer on-street parking payments. Due to the success of the off-street launch in the city last year, Parkmobile is expanding its footprint so that customers may now use the app to pay for parking at the city’s on-street meters.
“We are very much looking forward to furthering our opportunities through our partnership with the City of New Rochelle and LAZ Parking,” said Jon Ziglar, CEO of Parkmobile, LLC. “Parkmobile has been extremely successful and well-received since our initial launch in the city, and we are excited to broaden our services so that we can further enhance the customer parking experience.”
Parkmobile’s mobile payment system is very simple and easy to use and is available for iPhone, Android, Windows, Amazon, and Blackberry phones. Customers first must register by downloading the mobile app in their phone’s app store or online at www.parkmobile.com. Once registered, they may use the mobile app, internet, or a toll-free number to pay for parking. After setting up their account, customers can immediately start using the system with their registered mobile phone. Mobile app users may also choose to receive alerts and reminders 15 minutes prior to their parking session expiring.
Parkmobile’s mobile payment solution is an added payment option and is intended to complement existing parking payment options. All existing forms of payment (credit and debit cards, coins) are still valid for meter use.
