Parkmobile Transforms Parking for Western Washington University with Mobile Payments Solution
Bellingham, WA – June 23, 2016— Parkmobile, LLC, the leading provider of on-demand and prepaid mobile payments for on- and off-street parking, and Western Washington University announced today its partnership to provide mobile payments for parking to the campus. Students, faculty, staff, and visitors will be able to use the app at many of the parking lots, which includes approximately 2,500 parking spaces. Customers can pay to park with their smartphones using Parkmobile’s app for iPhone, Android, Windows, Amazon, and Blackberry phones, or by calling the toll-free number on the green meter stickers and signs.

Parkmobile’s mobile payments system is very simple and easy to use. Customers first must register by downloading the mobile app in their phone’s app store or online at www.parkmobile.com. Once registered, they may use the mobile app, internet, or the toll-free number listed on signage to pay for parking. After setting up their account, customers can immediately start using the system with their registered mobile phone. Mobile app users may also choose to receive alerts and reminders 15 minutes prior to their parking session expiring.
