Parkmobile parking sessions can be virtually real-time pushed to web based back office systems, or virtually real-time pulled to these systems, depending on the situation. Additionally Parkmobile integrations enable smart single space meters to reflect the Parkmobile parking session (the time purchased) on the meter, facilitating enforcement officers to keep their current work routine.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Parking at an Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging parking space requires the Parkmobile member to scan the QR code or enter the specific zone number, graphically displayed on the physical charging station, in Parkmobile’s mobile app. After the transaction is approved, the member will receive a charging code via a TXT or email message. In order to initiate the charge, this code must be entered into the keypad on the charging station. The code activates the charging station for a configurable duration (e.g. up to 12 hours).

Event Management

Parkmobile provides convenient and user friendly online solutions for event venues or parking facilities that offer incidental event parking. Customers can reserve and prepay online and either print out their event pass or use the QR code on their cell phone as payment proof. For incidental events, Parkmobile offers an online Event Override tool, which enables parking providers to override the existing rate structure with a temporarily Event rate. Event customers use their Parkmobile mobile payment apps as usual, guaranteeing a seamless and convenient solution.

Parkmobile Wallet in cooperation with Citibank

Parkmobile offers the Client and its End Users the ability to participate in a premium “Mobile Wallet” program powered by Citibank. The Wallet payment method allows End Users to create an account in which a specific dollar amount of money will be stored for future payment of their parking transactions. By selecting the Wallet option during registration, or opting-in at a later date, the End User is entitling Parkmobile to charge their credit card(s) for a specific dollar amount they have elected. That money is then held within an account (at Citi – protected by FDIC insurance) and with each transaction the money is depleted from the account.

End Users are not responsible for tracking the outgoing payments to determine if they need to replenish their account (like a pre-paid card) as the Parkmobile system automatically replenishes the account once an account has reached a minimum threshold value. The amount reloaded from the credit card is always equal to the amount selected by the End User when they initially selected the Wallet payment method.

Central parking right database (repository)

Parkmobile’s central parking right database holds all different types of parking rights in real time: mobile payments, digital residential and visitor permits, and even connected multi-space meter transactions. The availability of all parking transactions in a real time database provides significant benefits to cities and operators:
